  Il rimpianto di non averti mai visto dal vivo lo porterò sempre con me.
  Sei stato uno dei miei riferimenti musicali principali soprattutto in questi ultimi anni e forse chissà il caso ha voluto che proprio in questi giorni, ascoltando i Napoli Centrale, mi fossero venuti in mente più volte i Weather Report.
  Appresa la notizia ho rivolto la sguardo verso il poster appeso al negozio che ti ritrae insieme a loro e nella foto c'è Pastorius che ti guarda e mi fa piacere pensare che da qualche parte ricomincerete a suonare insieme.
  I musicisti, con la EMME maiuscola, che hanno suonato con te forse non li vedrà mai nessuno ed è giusto così.
  Tu eri tra i migliore, se non il migliore... Ciao Joe Zawinul!
